LongHorn Lazy on Regan Lane 20 x 24
This painting was started on location with a small painting when I found my new favorite place to paint. Over on a highway not far from my house Ronald Reagan is the name of it. I found a beautiful pasture of big trees and big beautiful longhorns. I grew up with horses and brown cows and black cows but not longhorns. When I see this animal I think of the quote "I'm not from Texas but I got here as fast as I could".
